Hyper Smiles!

Joey gets so excited about the simplest things. Here he is enjoying a chocolate chip cookie. What is special is that he gets just as excited when I come home from work. Makes going home all that much more enjoyable!

HI Elisa, Thanks for your comments on my blogs.. here is my response on my blog

HI Elisa! Let's get lunch together in two weeks! hahahahaha! I can't wait!!! I have no clue what is in the water here. I used to boil it for 5 minutes the first 4 months we were here but they mom got me a water purifer and I actually re-purify cheap bottled water. The US consulate site tells workers not to drink Polish water because of the high metal content. I also read some other sites that made me nervous and seeing the film on top of my hot tea after it sat for a while also made me nervous. So that is why I have been re-purifing bottled water (You can't trust those sources either, according to people here who yelled at me one time when I gave Iza water straight from the bottle without boiling it first)
It would be fun to test the water here and see what it is composed of. I think it is hard because it stains the facets.
I also didn't understand the doctor correctly when she was 8 months old and gave me the flouride prescription. I thought he said put 4 drops in her bottle. But really I was supposed to put 7 drops right into her mouth right before sleep every night according to the black teeth dentist. Who knows. I am so sick about it. Thank goodness it is getting fixed. Just the getting fixed part is so hard on Iza. She clawed Irek's arm to bits with her nails and screams and I have to hear that from the hall. All I can do is pray and cry. Thank goodness this dentist is super fast. :( :( :( :( :( Thinking about begging for her to get a numbing shot tomorrow even if that can cause as much pain as the 10 seconds of work.

Ivy,
The thought of not having numbing for a root canal is horrible. Adults can't do it, why do they expect that of children? We will be in prayer tomorrow for sure. Are you sure you can't see a doc here before attempting this without numbing? My little guys see Dr. Perry and she is so good and fast and she's Christian. She's all about making non-traumatic for the children. She's a pediatric dentist who even sees 15 month olds. (Joey chipped a tooth.) Do they numb children here in the States?

After reading what you're going through, I've been more diligent with the little guys' teeth.

I can't even imagine not being able to drink the water, even bottled.
And you're bathing in it too. You may be able to find water testing kits here and take back. You might also check out your pipes for lead.

Yes, we will have to definitely get together when you get here. That will be terrific! I can't wait to meet Olivia. Andy will LOVE her. He wants a little sister and even already has her named Abigail. He prays and talks about her as if she is a reality. As a matter of a fact, I mentioned Olivia to Andy just now and he started talking about Abigail.

I need to get Andy some hot tea. He's sick and stopped up and stayed home from MDO today. Get some rest. We'll be in prayer for Iza.
